Youngest Person to Wear Dentures

WHO: Daniel Sanchez-Ruiz

WHAT: 3 years and 301 days

WHERE: UK

WHEN: February 25, 2005

Daniel Sanchez-Ruiz (UK) was given a full set of dentures on 25 February 2005 at the age of 3 years and 301 days due to a condition called Hypohydrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia.

"This condition is hereditary and was passed on to Alex by his mother," said Dr. Joseph E. Morton of the Morton Family Dentistry. "All of his teeth, primary and permanent, are discolored, have no pulp, and are very weak. His mother presented the problem to our office and wanted us to give her son an option that would give him the "look" of soon-to-be classmates. And we did!"
